    Salary up to $55K, plus bonus, depends of experience.

     

    Summary:  Applies principles of accounting to analyze financial information and prepare financial reports by performing the following duties.

     

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned:

     

    • Accurately inputs all invoices into ERP system ensuring all bills are properly coded, approved, and have appropriate supporting documentation
    • Assesses use tax liability on all invoices.
    • Processes daily credit card deposits.
    • Researches and processes charge backs, returns, and refunds
    • Contacts business accounts that have an outstanding A/R balance
    • Prepares month end reconciliations for credit cards, A/P, and A/R accounts
    • Compiles and analyzes financial information to prepare entries to accounts, such as Prepaids, Fixed Assets, Accruals.
    • Compiles, analyzes and reports inventory transactions. Verifies proper costing is applied, inventory assets are appropriately stated, and associated expenses are recorded correctly.
    • Manages cash flow and makes recommendations related to such.
    • Determines proper handling of financial transactions and approves transactions within designated limits.
    • Monitors compliance with generally accepted accounting principles and company procedures.
    • Assists with completing schedules (PBC list) required by tax preparer
    • Documents and maintains updated procedures in documentation database

    Education/Experience:

    Bachelor’s Degree (BBA); three to five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

     

    Language Ability:

    Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from business partners, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community.  Ability to write routine reports and business correspondence that conforms to prescribed style and format.  Ability to speak effectively before groups of business partners, management or employees of organization.  Ability to effectively present information to top management, public groups, and/or boards of directors.

     

    Math Ability:

    Ability to apply advanced mathematical concepts such as exponents, logarithms, quadratic equations, and permutations.  Ability to apply mathematical operations to such tasks as frequency distribution, determination of test reliability and validity, analysis of variance, correlation techniques, sampling theory, and factor analysis.

     

    Reasoning Ability:

    Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.

     

    Computer Skills:

    To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge with ERP systems, Microsoft Office, and basic computer skills.
