    We are seeking a Staff Accountant to become a positive, contributing member of our professional accounting team. This individual should be a quick learner with the ability to deal with complex accounting issues. Starting off, this individual will be immediately introduced to our revenue processing including verifying daily deposit transactions, reconciling general ledger accounts, including intercompany accounts and loan balances for a complex group of related companies, reconciling bank statements. After mastering these processes, it is our intention to provide this candidate greater responsibility and duties.


    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Bank reconciliations
    • Intercompany reconciliations
    • Prepare monthly management reports and rental statements for our Landlords
    • Collect necessary closing documents relating to the preparation and posting of parking rents
    • Assist in preparing monthly financial statements for Parking and West & Wheeler
    • Balance Sheet reconciliation and analysis
    • Provide technical support and guidance to Parking Services and Field Stations
    • Independently researching and resolving outstanding reconciliation items
    • Front desk coverage including phones and greeting clients/visitors
    • Performing other ongoing accounting functions and special projects as assigned; these range in complexity based upon the aptitude of the candidate



    • Bachelors’ degree in accounting or equivalent experience
    • 2+ years accounting experience with increasing levels of responsibility
    • Strong computer proficiency - experience with AS400 highly preferred and Microsoft Suite applications; including advanced Excel skills
    • Strong written and verbal communications skills
    • A positive outlook, good people skills and the ability to work with diverse personalities
    • Ability to complete assigned projects with minimal guidance
    • Precise attention to detail and the ability to solve increasingly complex accounting issues
    • Ability to determine the accuracy and reliability of data generated both within and outside of area of responsibility
