    Our team in Mercer Island is seeking an experienced full-time Senior Accountant. The Senior Accountant will be responsible for processing payroll, managing treasury, and providing support with account reconciliations and ledgers while working closely with the Assistant Controller on key projects.


    • Assist with monthly close procedures including but not limited to:
      • Preparation of bank reconciliations
      • Reconciling general ledger accounts to various subledgers
      • Preparing journal entries for monthly activity
    • Daily review of cash balances against AP and wire activity to ensure adequate funding
    • Prepare bi-monthly payroll
    • Support with preparing deliverables for annual corporate audits
    • Work with Controller to compile and submit reporting deliverables for federal, state and local taxes
    • Directly assist accounting/finance management and shareholders as projects arise



    • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
    • Minimum of 2+ years of accounting experience
    • Thorough understanding of accounting systems and cycles, including payroll cycles
    • Must be very detailed oriented and flexible within an ever-changing environment
    • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including advanced Excel skills
    • Familiarity with accounting software, QuickBooks and Sage 300 CRE preferred
    • Ability to exhibit discretion and show attention to detail with personal information and financial data
    • Familiarity with real estate and/or lending specific industries preferred
    • Experience with multiple consolidating entities a plus
