    We have an immediate opening for an experienced Clinical Research Network Manager to join our organization and assist QCCA in its efforts to organize its community oncology practice members to provide clinical trial opportunities through a national network called The QCCA Oncology Research Network (Network).


    This position requires interaction with a wide variety of groups to include nursing staff and management, community groups, physicians, patients, health care organizations, research groups, pharmaceutical companies and service groups such as laboratories, radiology departments, and specialty physicians. This position requires the use of presentation skills in providing information, advice or assistance on technical and non-technical matters regarding clinical research.


    The Clinical Research Network Manager will be an independent contractor for QCCA. The contractor will comply with HIPAA regulations, GCP ICH Guidelines and the policies of the institutions and clinics where services are provided.



    • Assists physicians and Network sites in setting up specific studies for participant accrual, in addition to tracking accrual for studies that are conducted through the Network.
    • Acquires and maintains study-specific knowledge including scientific background and conduct.
    • Interacts with sponsors of cancer studies, serve as operational point person for Network.
    • Assist in the development of Network marketing materials, including website.
    • Assist in the development and implementation of Network infrastructure, such as financial tracking, CTMS software and Quality Assurance programs.
    • Support the development and growth of QCCA member research programs.
    • Promote QCCA relationships with vendors.
    • Deploy, implement and/or develop novel tools and systems to enhance member performance on clinical trials.
    • Maintain ShareFile which provides access to new study opportunities and internal research updates.
    • Organize and promote research focused education including tumor boards (i.e.: molecular tumor boards).
    • Develop and organize QCCA research administrator group; a forum for QCCA research managers to share learning, discuss studies and projects.
    • Assist in the distribution of study feasibilities between sites when appropriate.



    • High school diploma required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
    • 2+ years research experience.
    • Knowledge of all aspects of conducting a clinical trial required.  Experience with clinical trial contracts and budgets preferred.
    • Excellent verbal/ written communication, presentation and organizational skills.
    • Strong technology skills.
