Northwest Medical Specialties offers South Sound residents compassionate, experienced and innovative treatment in cancer care and infectious diseases. We are among the regional leaders in clinical trials, allowing patient’s access to cutting-edge treatment.

 

We have an immediate opening for an Administrative Assistant to join the team at our office in Puyallup; this position will require the flexibility to travel to our various clinics a few times a month.  Our Administrative Assistant will schedule appointments, answer phones, perform clerical work and attend to minor administrative and business details. 

 

Our ideal candidate will be highly organized with excellent customer service skills and the ability to maintain confidentiality at all times.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Compose and type routine correspondence.
  • Organize and maintain file system and other records.
  • Coordinate and arrange meetings.
  • Take notes and dictation.
  • Order and maintain supplies, and arrange for equipment maintenance.
  • Travel to meetings and conferences as needed (average 1 trip per month).

Qualifications: 

  • High School degree (or equivalent) required; Associates Degree preferred.
  • Two+ years of applicable experience preferred.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to travel and work from various clinic locations as needed.
  • Ability to maintain strictest confidentiality; adhere to all HIPAA guidelines/ regulations.
